Russian Government Allocates 1.2 Billion Rubles for Gas Network Connection of Privileged Categories

The Russian government will allocate additional funding to regions for social gasification. A total of 1.2 billion rubles will be allocated to connect homes of eligible citizens to gas networks.

Under the social gasification program, families can have gas piped to the boundaries of their land plots free of charge. Eligible groups include: large families, participants in the Special Military Operation (SVO) and their close relatives, first group disabled individuals, low-income individuals, and those caring for children with disabilities. The allocated funds will allow over 13,000 families in 56 regions to be connected to gas networks and provided with necessary equipment this year.
