On the opening of the main trading session, the Moscow Exchange (MOEX) and RTS indices fell by 0.13% on September 21, according to trading data.
The MOEX index dropped to 2,275.15 points, while the RTS index fell to 851.21 points.
In early trading, the yuan-to-ruble exchange rate rose by 2.85 kopecks compared to the previous day, reaching 12.6105 rubles.
