Russian Central Election Commission processes over 72% of protocols in State Duma elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia has released preliminary results after processing 71.17% of the voting protocols in the State Duma elections.

According to the CEC website, the leading political party is "United Russia" with 57.53% of the votes. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) follows with 14%, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) with 8.73%, "New People" with 7.97%, and "Just Russia" with 5.03%.

Other parties have not crossed the 5% threshold.
