Iran has conveyed 7 conditions to the US through intermediaries, which it deems necessary for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, according to TASS.

According to a source from the Tasnim News Agency, these demands have been approved by the highest authorities of the Islamic Republic. The Strait will remain closed until all 7 conditions are met by Washington.

The source also stressed that the agreement reached between Iran and Oman does not in itself mean the resumption of maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
