### Russian Air Defense Systems Intercept 230 UAVs in Massive Nighttime Attack Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 230 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type during a massive nighttime attack on September 12, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The incident occurred between 8:00 PM Moscow time on September 11 and 8:00 AM Moscow time on September 12. The UAVs were detected over the territories of Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Samara, and Saratov regions, as well as over Crimea. Additionally, air targets were intercepted over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
