### Russian Drone Attack on Makhachkala Thwarted by Russian Air Defense Russian-occupied Makhachkala was targeted by enemy drones overnight, according to the head of Dagestan, Fyodor Shchukin. The Russian air defense successfully intercepted the attack, destroying all incoming aerial threats. However, debris from the drones caused fires at several locations, including the port infrastructure and the Avar Music and Drama Theater named after Gamzat Tsadasa (a renowned cultural institution in the region).
