### Russian Air Defense Forces Intercept Massive Drone Attack Overnight Russian air defense forces successfully repelled a large-scale attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type during the night, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. From 8:00 PM on August 22 to 8:00 AM on August 23, duty air defense systems detected, intercepted, and destroyed 328 Ukrainian drones. The drones were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orenburg, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Smolensk, Tver, and Tula regions. Additionally, UAVs were eliminated in the Moscow region, Krasnodar territory, Republic of Crimea, and over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. The Ministry emphasized that all detected air targets were successfully neutralized by duty air defense systems.
