Putin Summons Siluanov and Tsyvilov for Separate Meeting Following National Projects Council Session

Russian President Vladimir Putin held an additional meeting with several government officials and regional leaders following a session of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.

Putin invited Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Energy Minister Sergei Tsyvilev, Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin, as well as the governors of Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko and Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako for separate talks.

The President noted that he had already discussed work-related issues with some of the participants earlier in the day, but wanted to personally exchange views and give necessary instructions.

"I have a request. Medinsky, Kozhemyako, Limarenko, Nikitin. I spoke with you this morning, but I would like to say a couple of words directly and personally. Then Siluanov and Sergei Evgeniyevich Tsyvilev," Putin said.

He then asked the participants to move to an adjacent room for further discussion in a separate format.
