Parallel imports into Russia reached $10.6 billion in the first half of 2026, according to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Roman Chekushov.

Monthly average volume of parallel imports stands at around $1.7 billion.

Chekushov stated that the Ministry of Industry and Trade does not intend to reduce the list of goods eligible for parallel import.

(Parallel imports refer to goods brought into the country through unauthorized channels, bypassing official distributors. This practice has become more common in Russia since 2022, when many international companies stopped direct deliveries to the country.)
