The peak of the fire at the Wildberries warehouse in Alekshin, Tula region, has been passed and the fire is now contained, according to a report by Tula News, citing regional governor Dmitry Milyayev.

Milyayev, who visited the scene of the incident, said that the situation is under control. Firefighters are continuing to douse the structures. There are sufficient resources and personnel available to the firefighters.

"The situation is under control. I thank the emergency services personnel for their promptness and professionalism," the publication quoted Milyayev as saying.
