### Russian Air Defense Forces Intercept and Destroy 475 Ukrainian Drones Overnight MOSCOW, August 5 — Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 475 Ukrainian drones during the night of August 5, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territories of Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Tula, Smolensk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Saratov, and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as the Moscow area, Krasnodar Territory, the Republics of Crimea (a region annexed by Russia in 2014) and Tatarstan, and over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
