Data Usage in "Maks" Messenger to Become Free. The Big Four telecom operators (MTS, MegaFon, Beeline, and T2) have signed an agreement with the messenger to zero out data charges, according to a press release from "Maks".

Starting August 1, messages, calls, file transfers, and digital services within the messenger will not be subject to data charges and will not consume mobile data packages. "Maks" will remain usable even if your data allowance has been depleted.
