Russian Antimonopoly Service Opens Cases Against Gas Station Owners Over High Fuel Prices

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has initiated cases against fuel station owners in several regions for allegedly unjustifiably raising fuel prices, according to a statement from the agency.

Violations were identified in the Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk regions, Perm Krai, and the Komi Republic. At some gas stations in these areas, gasoline prices were briefly increased. Earlier, the FAS issued warnings to the fuel station owners. If found guilty, the business owners face fines.
