Number of foreigners expelled from Russia surges 65.5% year-on-year

Over the first half of the year, 43,700 foreign nationals and stateless persons were deported from Russia, according to data from the Federal Bailiffs Service (FSSJ), as reported by Vedomosti.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of foreigners deported from Russia increased by 65.5%, with 26,400 foreign nationals being deported in 2022.
