Brent crude tops $86 a barrel for first time since June 12

Oil prices continued to rise on July 14 amid ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran, according to data from the London-based ICE exchange.

During trading, the price of the September futures contract for Brent crude oil increased by 3.52%, reaching $86.23 per barrel. This level has not been seen since June 12, 2026.

At the same time, the price of the August futures contract for WTI crude oil rose by 3.44%, reaching $80.83 per barrel.
