Trump Announces Control Over Strait of Hormuz, Introduces Security Fee

The United States is taking control of the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. President Donald Trump declared in an interview with Fox News. According to Trump, the U.S. will act as the "guardians of the strait" and will require payment for this role.

"We are taking control of the strait and, it seems, we will be managing it. We will be the guardians of the strait. Perhaps the guardian angels. And we need compensation for that," the White House leader stated.
