The Russian government will allocate an additional 3 billion rubles ($36 million) in 2026 to support industrial mortgages, which allow companies to purchase, construct, and modernize industrial facilities at preferential rates, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced at the plenary session of the "Innoprom-2026" forum.

"More than 8 billion rubles have already been allocated in the federal budget for servicing these loans this year. We will add over 3 billion rubles more. The relevant directive has been signed," Mishustin said.

He noted that after several foreign companies left Russia, the industrial mortgage program helped prevent the closure of production sites. Under this mechanism, nearly 1,100 preferential loans totaling over 116 billion rubles have been issued, bringing approximately 5 million square meters of industrial space into use.
