Moscow Exchange Index rises by 0.6% on Monday, reaching 2300 points during trading session.
Among the most liquid stocks, the following dynamics are observed:
- Nornickel (Gazmetall Company Norilsk Nickel) +2%;
- Sberbank +0.4%;
- Lukoil -0.7%;
- VTB +1.3%.
The Moscow Exchange Index (MOEX) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is calculated based on the market capitalization of free-floating shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and fast-growing Russian companies.
The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization adjusted for free-float. The index composition and weights are reviewed quarterly.
