One killed, 11 hospitalized after rocket attack in Volgograd region

One person was killed and 11 others injured in a missile strike on an industrial facility in the Volgograd region, according to regional governor Andrey Bocharov.

Bocharov stated that the deceased was an employee of the targeted enterprise. Rescue teams are still searching for another worker who remains unaccounted for.

Earlier, the governor reported that the attack targeted production facilities in the Krasnooktyabrsky district of Volgograd. Small fires that broke out after the strike were quickly extinguished.

Bocharov emphasized that residential areas were not affected by the incident, with no damage reported to apartment buildings or private homes. Emergency and operational services are still on site.
