### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack Russian air defense forces successfully thwarted a large-scale drone attack in the night of June 20, according to official statements. From 8:00 PM on June 19 to 7:00 AM on June 20, air defense units detected, intercepted, and neutralized 187 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of airplane-type. The drones were eliminated over various regions including Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Tula, Lipetsk, Rostov, Voronezh, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Moscow region, and the Republic of Crimea (a region claimed by Ukraine but annexed by Russia in 2014). Additionally, UAVs were shot down over the Black Sea and Azov Sea. Emergency and operational services are currently working at the sites where the drones crashed.
