### Russian Stock Market Opens Lower: MICEX Index Drops 0.6% On Wednesday, the opening session of the Russian stock market saw the MICEX Index fall by 0.6%, trading at 2,507 basis points. The most liquid stocks showed the following trading dynamics: - Lukoil: -0.4% - Gazprom: -0.4% - Sberbank: -0.1% - Rosneft: -1.4% The MICEX Index is a price indicator of the Russian stock market, calculated based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and includes highly liquid securities of large and fast-growing Russian companies. The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, and includes the most liquid stocks of Russian companies. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
