According to Governor Alexander Drozdenko, 144 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed by air defense forces over the region. The primary targets of the attack were industrial and energy infrastructure facilities, Drozdenko noted. Despite the intensity of the assault, no significant damage was reported. There are no reports of casualties or injuries. Fragments of downed drones have fallen in several districts of the region, causing minor damage to building facades and windows from shrapnel impact. A fire broke out at a Ministry of Defense facility in Lomonosovsky District. To coordinate emergency services and monitor the situation, Governor Drozdenko ordered the creation of a temporary operational headquarters, which has already begun its work. Due to the fire, authorities have decided to partially evacuate residents living in the nearby area. Regional authorities emphasize that this measure is temporary and people will be able to return home within hours after the threat is eliminated. The consequences of the incident are being addressed by the Ministry of Defense units and regional emergency response forces. According to officials, the situation is fully under control, and firefighting efforts are ongoing.
