### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack In the night of June 4, Russian air defense systems intercepted and neutralized a large-scale drone attack, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. From 8:00 PM Moscow time on June 3 to 7:00 AM on June 4, a total of 272 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type were detected, intercepted, and destroyed. The drones were eliminated over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, and Tambov regions, as well as over the Republic of Crimea (a region annexed by Russia in 2014 and claimed by Ukraine). Additionally, UAVs were shot down over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. Emergency and operational services are currently working at the sites where the drone debris fell.
