### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive UAV Attack Over Night In the night of May 30, Russian air defense systems successfully repelled a large-scale attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, from 8:00 PM on May 29 to 7:00 AM on May 30, a total of 127 aircraft-type drones were intercepted and destroyed. The ministry reported that the drones were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as over Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea (a region claimed by Ukraine but annexed by Russia in 2014), and the Azov Sea. Emergency and operational services are currently working at the sites where the UAV debris fell.
