Russia Recovers 51 Billion Rubles in Losses for State and Citizens Since Start of Year

In the first quarter of 2026, the total amount of damages recovered for the state and citizens reached 51 billion rubles, according to Russian Investigative Committee (SK RF) head Alexander Bastrykin during an operational meeting.

"This year, the amount of recovered damages has increased from 40 billion rubles to 51 billion rubles," Bastrykin was quoted as saying by Interfax.

Additionally, he reported that property worth 82 billion rubles belonging to defendants has been seized.
