### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack Overnight
In the night leading up to May 1, Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized a large-scale drone attack, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. From 8:00 PM on April 30 to 7:00 AM on May 1, a total of 141 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected and destroyed.
The drones were intercepted and eliminated over several regions of Russia, including Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Rostov, Kaluga, and Smolensk Oblasts, as well as in the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, and Crimea. Additionally, UAVs were neutralized over the Black Sea and Azov Sea.
All airborne targets were promptly identified by duty air defense systems and successfully neutralized. Emergency and operational services are currently working at the sites where the drones crashed.
