Putin meets with Iranian Foreign Minister Arakchi

Negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi took place in St. Petersburg, where the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and outlined new areas of collaboration, according to RIA Novosti.
Following the meeting, the Iranian minister noted that the dialogue was constructive and allowed for the introduction of several initiatives aimed at strengthening partnership ties between the two countries. He stated that current conditions are favorable for deepening cooperation across various sectors.
Araqchi emphasized that Tehran is committed to maintaining and developing a strategic partnership with Moscow, adapting it to current international realities. He also highlighted the potential for expanding cooperation into new areas.
