Russia, Ukraine exchange 193 prisoners each in major swap

Russia has repatriated 193 of its servicemen from territories controlled by the Kyiv regime, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

In exchange, Ukraine released 193 Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The prisoner exchange took place on April 24.

According to the Russian military, the repatriated servicemen are currently in Belarus, where they are receiving necessary psychological and medical assistance. Upon returning to Russia, they will be transferred to medical facilities for treatment and rehabilitation.
