U.S. President Donald Trump announced alleged agreements with Iran, which would involve the transfer of enriched uranium from sites hit in summer 2025 to Washington, TASS reports.

Speaking to journalists, the American leader stated that Tehran had agreed to hand over what he called "nuclear dust"—material that, according to him, ended up deep underground after attacks carried out using B-2 Spirit strategic bombers.

As noted by The Washington Post, Trump is referring to enriched uranium, which, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), was buried as a result of strikes on key Iranian nuclear facilities.

The White House leader also emphasized that the parties had allegedly made progress on several issues and expressed confidence in a favorable development of the situation.

Earlier, Trump had claimed on the Truth Social platform that Iran would halt uranium enrichment. Additionally, according to his version, the U.S. plans to organize the removal of accumulated material in coordination with Tehran.

However, there has been no official confirmation of such agreements from Iranian authorities so far.
