Russia, Ukraine Exchange 175 Prisoners Each in Major Swap

Russia and Ukraine have carried out another prisoner exchange, with each side transferring 175 people, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

On April 11, 175 Russian servicemen were returned from the territory controlled by Kyiv. In exchange, Russia handed over 175 Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Additionally, seven Russian civilians—residents of the Kursk region who had been detained in Ukraine—were also returned to Russia and will soon be reunited with their families.

The United Arab Emirates facilitated the exchange, acting as a mediator in this humanitarian mission.
