Russia Prepares Financial Infrastructure for Digital Currency Circulation

The Russian government has prepared a set of legislative initiatives aimed at creating a domestic financial infrastructure for the circulation of digital currencies, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced during a meeting with cabinet members.

He stressed that buying and selling digital currencies will be possible on Russian platforms and stored in Russian depositories.

"These measures will make the use of cryptocurrencies easier and safer, and help businesses reduce costs associated with foreign trade operations," Mishustin said.
