Average price of new Russian car falls below 2 million rubles

In February 2026, the average price of a passenger car made in Russia dropped below the 2 million ruble mark, reaching 1.99 million rubles, according to a study by "Avto.ru Business" reported by TASS.

Meanwhile, the average price of new models from Chinese brands officially available in Russia remained unchanged at 3.94 million rubles. Over the month, the number of Russian-made cars offered for sale increased by 7%, while the number of Chinese cars rose by 1%.

The most significant price reductions were seen in models such as the Lada Aura (-4%, to 2.44 million rubles), Zeekr 9X (-3%, to 13.11 million rubles), and Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (-3%, to 2.96 million rubles).
