Average Price of New Cars Rises 12% Year-on-Year

In February 2026, the average price of a new passenger car in Russia reached 3.49 million rubles ($45,000), marking a 12% increase compared to the same period last year, according to Dmitry Yarigin, deputy head of the analytics department at Autostat agency, as reported by TASS.

Meanwhile, the average price of a used car stood at 1.2 million rubles ($16,000), up 2% year-on-year, Yarigin added.
