MICEX Index Rises 0.5% in Trading Session, Reaches 2795 Basis Points

MICEX Index rises by 0.5% during trading session, reaching 2795 basis points.

Here is the dynamic of the most liquid stocks:

- Gazprom -0.3%;

- Lukoil -0.2%;

- Sberbank +0.3%;

- VTB -0.7%.

Note that the MICEX Index (Московская биржа, Moscow Exchange) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is formed based on the market capitalization of freely traded shares (free-float) and includes highly liquid stocks of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.

The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid Russian company stocks. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
