### Russian Flaxseed Oil Exports Soar in 2025
In 2025, Russia exported 10,000 tons of flaxseed oil worth $12 million, according to the Federal Center for Supporting Agricultural Products Export (FCSEAP).
In terms of volume, flaxseed oil shipments increased by 1.9 times, while in monetary terms, they rose by 2.2 times.
China was the largest buyer of Russian flaxseed oil last year, increasing its purchases from Russia by 33% to $5.4 million. The top five importers also included Chile, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Turkey.
In addition, Russian exports of oilseed flax increased over the past year. Shipments abroad reached 1.2 million tons (+9% year-on-year) worth over $590 million (+15%). The leading importers of Russian flaxseed were China, Belgium, and Belarus.
