The Russian government has decided to defer payment deadlines for the disposal fee for major domestic manufacturers of automobiles and specialized equipment. This measure applies not only to automakers but also to companies producing self-propelled vehicles, agricultural, construction, road, municipal machinery, and trailers.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg), companies will be able to pay the disposal fee for the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first three quarters of 2026 later than the scheduled deadline. The payments have been postponed until December 2026.

The ministry explained that this measure is aimed at supporting the financial stability of the industry. In the context of high borrowing costs and significant credit burden on companies, the deferral will allow them to free up working capital.

It is expected that the additional resources will enable companies to implement investment programs, accelerate the purchase of components, and ensure timely payment of wages. This should ensure uninterrupted operation of production lines and maintain the pace of equipment output.
