### Russian Fish Exports to EU Rise by 5% in First 11 Months of 2025 Fish exports from Russia to the European Union (EU) increased by 5% both in volume and value terms from January to November 2025, according to the Russian Fish Union. During this period, Russia shipped 198,000 tons of fish worth $784 million to the EU. The key driver of the growth was frozen pollock fillet, with exports reaching 116,000 tons valued at $325 million, representing a 40% increase in volume and a 50% increase in value. Exports of frozen fillet of Far Eastern salmon also rose, reaching 3,500 tons worth $25 million, up 20% in volume and 45% in value. However, exports of frozen cod saw a significant decline, falling to 24,000 tons worth $160 million, down 45% in volume and 15% in value. Exports of frozen cod fillet dropped to 13,000 tons worth $125 million, a decrease of 35% in volume and 25% in value. Exports of frozen haddock fillet fell to 900 tons worth $6.5 million, down 50% in volume and 25% in value. Exports of frozen surimi dropped to 10,000 tons worth $17 million, a 15% decrease in volume but stable in value. Exports of frozen sardine resumed, reaching 10,000 tons worth $7 million.
