An agreement on visa exemption between Russia and Saudi Arabia could come into effect in the second half of this year, according to Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alihanov, as reported by TASS.

"It was signed in December, and we hope that, taking into account all procedures and ratification, it will definitely come into effect in the middle or second half of this year," Alihanov said on the sidelines of the "Innoprom. Saudi Arabia" exhibition.
