Domodedovo Airport to be Relisted for Sale with Dutch Auction Format

Domodedovo Airport will be relisted for sale in a Dutch auction format, with the bidding process set to start on January 29th, according to the organizer, Promsvyazbank.

Under the rules of a Dutch auction, the initial price of the lot will be reduced by 10% increments until it reaches 50% of the starting price. If multiple participants confirm the initial price or a price at any reduction step, the auction will switch to an ascending format with a 5% increment. It is worth noting that the market value of Domodedovo Airport has been estimated at 132.3 billion rubles.

• The first auction, scheduled for January 20th, was declared unsuccessful due to a lack of buyers. Only one participant, individual entrepreneur Yevgeny Bogatov, registered for the auction, but his bid was rejected due to missing or erroneous documents. Previously, a representative of Sheremetyevo Airport expressed readiness to compete for Domodedovo in an auction with a descending price format.
