The Ministry of Finance will issue OFZ bonds in the first quarter of 2026 for 1.2 trillion rubles.

The Russian Ministry of Finance plans to issue OFZ bonds worth 1.2 trillion rubles at nominal value in the first quarter of 2026.

A total of 11 auction days are scheduled: four in February and March, and three in January.

OFZ bonds with a duration of up to 10 years will be offered for 400 billion rubles, and those with a duration of 10 years or more for up to 800 billion rubles.

The plan for the first quarter of next year exceeds the plan for the first three months of 2025, when the Ministry of Finance aimed to attract 1 trillion rubles, eventually exceeding the volume by about 400 billion rubles at nominal value.

It is worth noting that in the fourth quarter of 2025, the Ministry of Finance issued OFZ bonds, including yuan-denominated bonds, for a total amount of 3.828 trillion rubles at nominal value, compared to the planned 3.8 trillion rubles; the total volume of OFZ bond issuance for the entire year 2025 amounted to 8.266 trillion rubles at nominal value.
