A Russian military unit equipped with the mobile ground-based missile complex "Oreshnik" has commenced its combat duty in the Republic of Belarus, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the ministry, all specialists of combat calculations for launch, communication, security, and power supply, as well as mechanics-drivers of the missile complex, underwent retraining before taking up their combat duty. All conditions for combat duty and accommodation of Russian servicemen in the republic were created in advance.
The arrived unit has begun to familiarize itself with new areas for combat patrolling.
