In 2025, the volume of e-commerce reached 13.5 trillion rubles, with a 30% increase in trade on major Russian online platforms. These figures were highlighted by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov in an interview with Russia-24.
Manturov emphasized that the development of trade in Russia is driven by robotization, digitalization, and the use of artificial intelligence. In this regard, he stated that Russia is "among the champions" compared to other world powers.
"Thanks to these factors, the service quality will also improve. In my opinion, if we compare it with global trends, we are not just leaders, but champions. We are truly among the best in the world in terms of delivery times and the quality of goods sold through our online platforms," Manturov stressed.
The volume of domestic trade in Russia increased by 2.5% year-on-year, reaching 55 trillion rubles.
