The domestic market of the Russian Federation is oversupplied with eggs. This information was reported by "RIA Novosti" referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Currently, the domestic market is oversupplied with this product. Production allows to fully meet the needs of both consumers and processing enterprises, the Ministry stated.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, egg production in the country for January-November reached 37 billion units, which is 6.5% higher than the same period last year. The high level of self-sufficiency allows maintaining stable prices on the market, the Ministry noted.
