Ex-mayor of Rostov-on-Don Logvinenko charged with receiving a bribe of 13 million rubles

In Rostov, the Investigative Committee has initiated a second criminal case against former head of the city administration Alexei Logvinenko, according to a source in law enforcement agencies, as reported by "Kommersant".
The new criminal case has been opened under the article "Receiving a bribe in an especially large amount." According to law enforcement officials, Logvinenko, through intermediaries among municipal employees, received 13 million rubles from a representative of a commercial company and used the money to purchase real estate. Also involved in the case are an employee of the administration (suspected of acting as an intermediary in bribery) and a representative of the commercial structure (who handed over the bribe).
Currently, Alexei Logvinenko is under arrest (from October 24 to December 23, 2025) in connection with a criminal case regarding abuse of official powers. According to the investigation, in 2020, the former head of the administration of the Don capital violated legal requirements when attracting a commercial bank loan, causing damage to the city budget amounting to 47 million rubles.
