The Russian Ministry of Finance has set new minimum retail prices for vodka, brandy, and cognac, which will be in effect for six years, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2031. The corresponding order has already been published on the legal information portal.

The main changes will affect consumer prices in stores.

  • Vodka will see the most significant price increase. The minimum price for a half-liter bottle will rise by 60 rubles — from 349 to 409 rubles.
  • Brandy will see an even more noticeable increase. The minimum retail price will increase by 133 rubles, to 605 rubles for 0.5 liters.
  • Cognac will increase in price by 104 rubles — the new minimum price will be 755 rubles for a 0.6-liter bottle.

The order also regulates trade prices. The following minimum ex-factory and wholesale prices have been set for producers and wholesalers for 0.5 liters:

  • Vodka: ex-factory price — 337 rubles, wholesale price — 351 rubles.
  • Brandy: ex-factory price — 457 rubles, wholesale price — 463 rubles.
  • Cognac: ex-factory price — 546 rubles, wholesale price — 577 rubles.

These measures are part of the state policy for regulating the circulation of alcoholic products.
