Gasoline and diesel prices sharply drop in exchange trading

During the stock exchange trading on December 12, the price of gasoline and diesel fuel started to decline, reversing the price increase observed at the beginning of the week. This is evidenced by the data from the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange.

AI-92 gasoline lost 2.98% in a day, dropping to 56,760 rubles per ton, with almost no change in price over the week. AI-95 gasoline fell by 3.08%, reaching 67,590 rubles per ton (+0.08% since the beginning of the week).

Summer diesel fuel became cheaper by 2.18%, reaching 55,264 rubles per ton (+1.18% over the week), while winter diesel fuel dropped by 0.4%, reaching 66,841 rubles per ton (-2.25% over the week). Intersseasonal diesel fuel increased by 0.9%, reaching 54,146 rubles per ton (+0.4% over the week).

The cost of fuel oil decreased by 12.71% in a day, reaching 14,548 rubles per ton (-14.6% over the week), while liquefied hydrocarbon gases fell by 3.97%, reaching 19,957 rubles per ton (-2.44%).
