1.5 Billion Rubles Will Be Directed to Modernization of ЖКХ in Dagestan, Ingushetia and North Ossetia

The federal center will allocate additional funding for the development of the housing and utility sector in three subjects of the Northern Caucasus. More than 1.5 billion rubles will be directed to Dagestan, Ingushetia, and North Ossetia as copayments for major sectoral modernizations. The funds are intended for the implementation of systemic changes within the framework of state programs. The main goals of the funding will be: - Establishment of unified regional operators. In each subject, the management of the real estate complex of the ЖКХ sector will be consolidated on the basis of the allocated companies. This will increase controllability, responsibility, and transparency in the sector. - Attraction of qualified personnel. Part of the funds will be used to implement measures to hire and retain professional specialists in the ЖКХ sector, from engineers to managers. - Transition to economically justified tariffs. Federal funds will help to compensate for the difference between old and new tariffs for residents during the transition period. This will prevent a sharp increase in payments for residents until reforms begin to improve the quality of services.
