"280 Million Rubles Allocated to Support Subsidized Air Transportation"

The Russian government will allocate funding to support subsidized air transportation. By the end of 2025, an additional 278.5 million rubles will be directed to reimburse airlines operating flights from remote and inaccessible settlements. This measure will enable the financing of the transportation of at least 35,000 passengers. - Since 2018, Russia has had a subsidy program for air transportation of льготных categories of passengers. The program includes flights to 82 destinations, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk, and other cities. Tickets at special rates can be purchased by citizens under 23 years old, women over 55 years old, men over 60 years old, first group disabled individuals, disabled children, and многодетные families.
