On December 4th, the large Russian logistics platform АО "Monopolia" announced a technical default on the payment of nominal bond value for Series 001P-02 amounting to 260 million rubles. The coupon income of 5.98 million rubles was paid to investors on time.

In the company, the situation was explained by difficult conditions in the logistics market, which led to a decrease in profitability in the segment of transportation by its own fleet. This resulted in a lack of working capital at the time of repayment of the bonds.

"Monopolia" emphasized that it does not reject its obligations and intends to pay the nominal bond value in the near future. Exact dates will be announced separately. The operational activities of the company, which unites more than 8,000 carriers, are conducted in normal mode.

Representatives of "Monopolia" assured investors and partners of continued timely disclosure of all necessary information.
