The Central Bank Proposes to Reduce Insurance Premiums for Most Types of Transportations

The Central Bank has proposed to reduce the minimum insurance rates for most types of transportation. For intercity and suburban bus transportation, the rates will decrease by 30%, for chartered and regular city bus transportation - by 20% and 10%, respectively. Additionally, according to the draft regulation published by the Bank of Russia, it is proposed to reduce the lower limit of the tariff for suburban sea and railway transportation by 40%. The lower threshold for helicopter, trolleybus, water transport, and long-distance railway transportation will be reduced by 30%.
